Claude Gillioz graduated from the Swiss Violinmaking School in Brienz (BE) in 1984 and established his Violin Shop, "Claude Gillioz - Luthier",  in Geneva, Switzerland in 1991, after working with the greatest Workshops in Geneva and Lausanne.

From 1991 to 2018, he was proud to accommodate local and European clients, from students and amateurs to professionnal musicians and soloists, in his Workshop

.

His workmanship is well known for an unparalleled commitment to customer satisfaction. It’s this standard of excellence that has provided the reputation and distinction in the business today.

Since opening a new Workshop in Corpus Christi in 2019, under the name  of CG Violins, Mr. Gillioz served the music community with the same standards of excellence and won awarding appraisals for his services and instruments.
